Appointment Cancellations

We are committed to beginning all appointments promptly at the scheduled time. On the rare occasion that we must reschedule your appointment, we endeavor to notify you well in advance of the scheduled time. We respect your time as much as we expect the same in return. Please honor your appointment times and keep us informed of unexpected circumstances that require rescheduling, so that our time together is focused on serving you. Missed appointments are lost opportunities for other patients in need.

Cancellations within 48 hours are only accepted by text message or phone call to 703-585-7162 (i.e. not by email). There is no fee for cancelling an appointment more than 48 hours before the scheduled time. Otherwise, the full fee is due, and we request that you promptly complete your payment. Exceptions are made in the event of a dire emergency (such as a death in the family, severe accident or illness, or hazardous weather conditions that prevent travel to our office).
